These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of the Cowartu website, admission process, digital courses, recorded lessons and live training services. Please read them before registering or making a payment. By creating an account, submitting an admission form, making a payment, or using a course, you agree to these Terms and the policy pages referred to below.

1. Business identity and scope

"Cowartu", "we", "us" or "our" refers to the Cowartu brand and proprietorship business operated by Ishwar Tudu, having its principal business address at Jadugora, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand, India. Cowartu is not described as a company incorporated under the Companies Act unless it is separately incorporated. The website currently identified for these Terms is cowartu.com.

These Terms cover website visitors, applicants, enrolled students and purchasers of Cowartu services. Product-specific terms for the PDF Course and Live Masterclass apply in addition to these general Terms. If a product-specific term conflicts with a general term, the product-specific term will apply to that product, subject always to applicable law.

2. Definitions

"Website" means cowartu.com and its related pages and student-access areas. "User" means any visitor, applicant or student using the Website. "Student" means a person whose admission or course purchase has been accepted by Cowartu. "Course Materials" means PDFs, documents, videos, audio, scripts, exercises, assignments, recordings and other learning resources. "Live Masterclass" means the instructor-led online training program described on the relevant course page or admission confirmation. "Third-Party Services" means independent services such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, email, hosting and payment or banking services.

3. Acceptance and updates

You must read these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the relevant product-specific terms before purchasing. Cowartu may update these policies to reflect changes to its services, processes or applicable law. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date. A material change will not retrospectively remove rights attached to a completed purchase, except where required by law or agreed with the student.

4. Eligibility

A person entering into a course purchase must be legally competent to contract under applicable Indian law and ordinarily must be at least 18 years old. A person below 18 may participate only where a parent or legal guardian makes or approves the enrolment, provides the required consent and accepts responsibility for the minor’s participation and compliance with these Terms. Cowartu may request reasonable age or guardian verification.

5. Courses and service descriptions

Cowartu may offer document/PDF courses, pre-recorded video courses, live online masterclasses and related learning support. The course page, admission confirmation or written communication will state the applicable syllabus, fee, access period, delivery method, batch size, schedule and other material features. A Live Masterclass may run for 45 days where that duration is stated for the relevant batch. A batch may be limited to 10 students where stated in the applicable course offer.

Cowartu may update examples, exercises, resources, instructors or delivery tools where reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the learning service. Any material change to the course duration, fee or core service will be communicated to affected students. A substitute instructor may be appointed where necessary, while making reasonable efforts to maintain the announced training standard.

6. Admission, account and student information

You must provide accurate and current information in the admission form, including your name, contact details and any information reasonably required to deliver the course. You are responsible for checking that your email address and WhatsApp number are correct and accessible. Cowartu may contact you through the contact details you provide for admission, payment verification, class links, schedule changes, support and course-related notices.

Where a student account or login is provided, it is personal to the enrolled student. Do not share passwords, access links or account credentials. You must promptly notify Cowartu at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. Cowartu may verify identity before changing or restoring account access.

7. Course fees and payment process

Course prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR), unless the relevant offer states otherwise. Applicable taxes, including GST, will be charged or reflected as required by law. Cowartu may revise future course prices, but a price change will not alter a purchase already confirmed at an earlier price.

Payments may be collected through the UPI ID, bank account or other payment method officially communicated by Cowartu. For the current admission workflow, students may be asked to share the transaction reference and payment proof through Cowartu’s official WhatsApp channel. A payment is treated as confirmed only after Cowartu verifies that the funds have actually been credited. A screenshot or payment initiation message alone is not confirmation. Never share your UPI PIN, OTP, card PIN or banking password with Cowartu or anyone claiming to represent it.

An invoice or receipt will be issued after payment verification, with tax details where applicable. Students must promptly report a suspected duplicate payment or an amount debited without a corresponding course confirmation.

8. Access and delivery

Digital materials and course access will be delivered through the Website, a secure link, email, WhatsApp or another method stated in the course offer. Unless the offer states a shorter or longer timeline, Cowartu aims to activate access within 24 hours after payment verification. Live-session links and schedules will be shared with enrolled students through the registered contact channel. Students must keep those links private.

Access duration is product-specific. For example, a PDF Course may be provided for 30 days, while a Live Masterclass may run for 45 days. The applicable product page or admission confirmation controls. Expiry of access does not create ownership of Cowartu’s materials or permission to redistribute downloaded content.

9. Student responsibilities and conduct

Students must attend sessions on time, participate respectfully, complete any stated practice or assignment requirements and follow reasonable instructions from instructors. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or disruptive conduct, impersonation, spamming, cheating, payment fraud, piracy or interference with another student’s learning environment is prohibited.

Students are responsible for having a suitable device, stable internet connection and any audio equipment reasonably specified for the course. A student’s personal connectivity or device problem does not automatically create a right to a repeated individual class or refund. Any rescheduling or make-up session expressly offered by Cowartu will be communicated separately.

10. Intellectual property

All Cowartu Course Materials, branding, logos, designs, teaching materials, videos, scripts, exercises and other content are owned by Cowartu or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. A purchase grants the student a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the purchased materials for personal learning during the applicable access period.

Without Cowartu’s prior written permission, students must not copy, record, reproduce, upload, publish, sell, rent, distribute, broadcast, sublicense, share, modify or commercially exploit Course Materials, class links or recordings. Account sharing, piracy or resale may result in suspension or termination of access and legal remedies under applicable law. A student must not remove copyright or ownership notices from materials.

11. Student submissions, voice samples and class recordings

Students may submit assignments, scripts, voice samples or feedback for teaching and assessment. Students retain rights they own in their original submissions. They grant Cowartu a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, review and use those submissions only as reasonably necessary to provide instruction, feedback, assessment and course administration. Cowartu will obtain separate permission before using a student’s identifiable voice, image, testimonial or work in public advertising or promotional material.

A live class may be recorded only where students are informed in advance and the recording is reasonably required for class delivery, revision or quality purposes. Recordings shared with students are for their personal learning only and must not be copied or redistributed. Students must not independently record a class or another student without Cowartu’s prior written permission and any consent required by law.

12. Privacy

Cowartu collects and uses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy, applicable Indian privacy and information technology laws, and the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025 as and when the relevant provisions become applicable. The Privacy Policy explains the information collected, purposes of use, sharing, retention and available privacy requests.

13. Educational purpose and no guaranteed results

Courses are provided for education, practice and skill development. Cowartu does not guarantee employment, freelance projects, auditions, clients, income, certification by an external body or any particular career outcome. Results depend on the student’s effort, practice, performance and external market conditions. Any portfolio guidance or career guidance is educational support and is not a promise of paid work.

14. Third-party services and website availability

Cowartu may use independent third-party services such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, email, hosting or payment/banking services. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Cowartu does not control their systems and is not responsible for outages or failures caused solely by them, but will make reasonable efforts to help students access the course or communicate alternative arrangements where practical.

Cowartu aims to keep the Website and course services available but does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, connectivity problems, cyber incidents or external outages may cause temporary interruption.

15. Suspension, termination and force majeure

Cowartu may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized account sharing, piracy, non-payment, abusive conduct, security risks or a legal requirement. Where practical, Cowartu will notify the student and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Termination does not remove payment obligations already accrued or rights that have arisen under applicable law. Refund consequences, if any, will be assessed under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

Cowartu will not be responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, public emergencies, government action, power or internet outages, cyberattacks, hosting failures or instructor emergencies. Cowartu will make reasonable efforts to notify affected students and offer rescheduling, an alternative delivery method or another fair arrangement. Any refund obligation required by law remains unaffected.

16. Liability, law and grievance redressal

To the extent permitted by law, Cowartu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a student’s use of the Website or failure to achieve a particular learning or career outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any contractual liability cap will not reduce a consumer’s mandatory statutory rights or remedies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws and the jurisdiction of competent consumer commissions, disputes will be subject to the competent courts at East Singhbhum, Jharkhand.

For complaints, contact the designated Grievance Officer using the contact details listed at the top of this Terms page. Cowartu will acknowledge a consumer grievance within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve it within one month from receipt, in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as applicable.
